After Janelle left, we returned to the Islands north of La Paz. Isla San Francisco is located just a short distance from Isla Partida, where we spent most of the time when Janelle was visiting. Here at Isla San Francisco we found a wonderful bay with a nice beach. However, the weather turned bad after a day or two and the north winds blew hard creating a large chop outside the bay. Inside the bay it was calm and quite with just the noise of the wind gusts above. We hadn't planned to stay here for more than a few days before moving onwards, but the winds blew for a week and we ended up staying put. We had friends on nearby boats, so we all kept each other company.
