Sharon and Matt are from Vancouver on board Shaman III. They are doing a one year Pacific journey. We met them first in San Diego and have run into one another now and then since. Matt is an avid spear fisherman and Jeff had hoped to get some lessons from him when they arrived at Isla San Francisco. However, a good weather window opened up for our trip across the Sea of Cortez to Mazatlán and we left before the opportunity arose. We hope to cross paths with them again somewhere along mainland Mexico.
