Carnaval in Mazatlán / King of Bad HumorPhotos by Jeff Robbins and Stan HustonFebruary 2002 |

| One of the parades is dedicated to the person who has the "Bad Humor" of the year. They select someone to burn an effigy. The main float is decorated with a coffin, rats, and flames. The parade wound it's way through the old town and ends up at a spot where they hang the effigy from lamp posts in the street and light it. |
