Isla Janitzio - On The Boat

It takes about 30 minutes for the boat to go from Pátzcuaro to Isla Janitzio. There are many boats, but they don't have a schedule. Rather, they wait until they fill up and then go. Depending on how busy it is, the wait can take some time.
