| A few kilometers from Batopilas along a rugged dirt road lies Iglesia San Miguel de Satevo or the Lost Cathedral. It's part of the old mission of Satevo that was founded before 1750. The records of the church were destroyed in a fire in the late 1800's, but the church survived. It is estimated to have been built between 1760 and 1764. |
