The owner of Barillas Marina Club, Juan Wright, is an avid pilot. He flies into the beautifully manicured grass landing strip at Barillas nearly every day. He offered to take us up for a scenic flight and we greatly enjoyed seeing the mountains and beaches from above. It was quite a thrill to fly only 100' above the beach at times. This view is looking up the estuary towards Barillas and the volcano.
