| Careyes is very built-up with fancy villas, condos, and two hotels. However, it was quite pretty. The beaches were nice and since we were there in the off-season, it was mostly deserted. One hotel (Club Med) was completely shut down and had been for a year. The other was fully staffed and very welcoming to us, but had very few guests. |
