We left Chamela for Punta Mita in Banderas Bay because a tropical storm was developing south of us and we wanted to get farther away from it. That meant motoring all night into 18k of wind and head seas. But, it really wasn't too bad and by morning the wind had become favorable and we were sailing nicely.

Neva had engine troubles along the way, so we returned back to assist. From there, we sailed to Puerto Vallarta along with them, bypassing Punta Mita afterall.
