| In the middle of the night prior to the storm's arrival, we decided to relocate. We were computing the expected tidal heights, our observations from the prior day, and the predicted storm surge. We felt we were at risk for the docks washing over the pilings. We found a wide berth on another dock with taller pilings and moved both Neva and Vesper there. We then tied the two boats to the docks and then to each other. The sag in the lines is due to their stretching during the storm. |
