Each day divers were hunting for shellfish right next to Vesper. They had a small float (a tire or inflatable toy) that would remain on the surface with their catch and they would free-dive down to find the shells. They then cleaned them on the surface. We watched them each day and were curious about the shellfish they were taking. Martín bought some from one of the fishermen and learned how to prepare it cerviche style. It turned out to be quite tasty and the shells were very pretty too.
