Las Hadas is a resort hotel and condo complex in Manzanillo. It was built before Manzanillo had attracted many tourists and was one of the earliest first class hotels along the coast. It was the scene of the movie "10" with Bo Derek and that apparently put Manzanillo on the map. We toured the hotel, including the Presidential Suite, and found it to be mostly past it's prime, but very unique architecture. Like all the hotels we'd seen along this section of coast, it was mostly empty. We anchored off the hotel's beach for about 10 days and were invited to use their facilities with certain conditions, such as we spend money there and not use the towels and lounge chairs which were reserved for the hotel guests. There weren't many guests, but those were the rules regardless.
