Vesper is a 40' sloop outfitted for safe and comfortable offshore cruising. In 2000 we completely refurbished and refit Vesper. Equipment aboard includes refrigerator, freezer, microwave, forced air heater, watermaker, SCUBA compressor, VHF and SSB/HAM radios, weather fax, built-in computer system, Pactor III modem, life raft, complete storm sails, 406mhz EPIRB, man overboard alarm, GPS, radar, electric windlass and heavy ground tackle, efficient cabin lighting, battery monitoring system, solar panels, wind generator, A/C inverter, 120 and 240 volt shore power, and a 54hp four cylinder Isuzu diesel auxiliary. Vesper's tanks hold 120 gallons of fresh water and 50 gallons of diesel fuel.

* At our last haul-out, Vesper weighed 21,500 pounds fully provisioned but with empty fuel and water tanks.
