| We spent most of our summer working on various maintenance and improvement
projects. Deirdre did an enormous amount of sewing. She made a full boat
sun cover, a sail bag for our staysail, a new entrance cover and window,
a boot for the mast, covers for the gas cans, slip covers for our interior
uphosltery and a cover for the dinghy motor. Here she is working on 38
yards of canvas for our boat cover. The finished cover is a life saver
in the direct sun. It provides shade over the entire deck and made it
bearable during the hot Puerto Vallarta summer. |
